Alpine Marmots love their Swiss Alps, and we love where these marmots build their burrows. Breathtaking views of Lake Geneva (Lac Léman) and the Alps await you.

These beautiful creatures pick some of the very best locations to reside. 

Join us on a visit to several enclaves of marmot heaven in two Swiss cantons, in the wild. We will also visit a recently opened marmot information center, exhibition, and a wildlife park where several species of marmots are presented in a natural habitat. There you can take a close look at the animals and their daily rituals.

The tour includes a drive up some great mountain roads, a ride in the traditional cog railway to a height of 2,000 metres above sea level above Lake Geneva, and a walk to the hidden marmot homes.

As marmots hibernate in winter, this tour takes place from May to October.
