FREEZE THE MOMENT: ENJOY GORGEOUS ALPINE PANORAMAS

Over the mountains, along the farm roads, here you see gorgeous panoramas, and a paparazzi paradise. We drive through and above little Swiss villages, along alpine cow pastures, over the mountain passes and on the forest roads. 

The tour name “Paparazzi” is a misnomer; you would expect to see them but do not. You may see lots of recognisable faces, in the bakeries, restaurants, and little villages where the world's rich and famous come to stay in their favourite chalets. They come to enjoy life here, undisturbed. Some move around with lots of bodyguards, most though have none. What you will see are quiet villages, and on the roads surrounding them which we explore, incredible landscapes and panoramas.

This tour covers the cantons of Fribourg, Vaud, and Bern. Roads include stretches of unpaved farm roads, and single lane paved, at altitudes from 1000 to 1850 meters.

In winter, changes to this route depend on daily snow conditions, and there are lots of variations. We will pull out the snow shoes (we provide) and take a little walk to a lookout point on the side of a mountain or through the forest. Later we enjoy hot tea on a bench with a view, which you cannot beat.
