Everywhere you travel in Switzerland, you find strange looking concrete objects, doors in the woods which seem to lead nowhere, cutouts in rock surfaces, and all for no apparent reason.  

Look beneath the surface, though, and an entire world involving military structures, bunkers, air strips, barricades, and so on, emerges.  After some time, those insignificant looking structures, objects, take on a completely different meaning, when you discover the true purposes behind them.

This tour involves visiting, discovering just a few of the myriad of military locations most people never notice. The installations include both "active" (owned and managed by the Swiss military) and inactive installations.
